I like Marty Schwartz' videos MUCH better. You can go watch the videos but I guess I just don't enjoy watching his videos.
And it's not me cause if I go work on songs with my in-person teacher I learn songs that are way more complex. I've worked on lots of songs out of his beginner songbook and I try to play along to the original recording and it's a total WTF is going on nothing sounds even remotely right. And then you are completely left on your own to figure out the rythmn which is not easy for a beginner. Justin isn't even listing the correct chords on a lot of songs as he's simplifying them.
They're really not much better than just going on and downloading the lyrics + chords.
I used Justinguitar early on before I was taking private lessons and in general I was pretty disappointed with it.
